LILLY, France – Jasper Philipson won the early stage of Tour Day in a sprint in a sprint, while champion Tedes Pogar’s defense ended safely on Saturday.
Pogačar is trying to win the showcase race for the fourth time behind the magnificent form in this season.

Filipson’s Alpesen-Dysunonic team partner Matthew Van Der Pael placed him in a stunning position to clearly draw him in the last 100 meters and win by a clear margin for his 10th tour stage win.
Irritriya cyclist Binium Gime was second and Norwegian Soren Wrencold was the third.
Denmark’s two-time tour champion Jonas Winggard was in the front group-the 18th and 20th position-but did not compete with Sprint. All ended in 3 hours, 53 minutes.
