The Vatican messenger of President Trump gave a special birthday gift to Pope Leo XIV before Pontif’s 70th ceremony on Sunday.

Burch told the Pope, “Portlow sent it to you,” in a video described their conversation. Leo replied: “And you brought it.”
The birch was earlier known for his criticism of the late Pope Francis, who widely welcomed the LGBTQ+ community in the church.
However, despite the previous rail comments against the former Catholic leader, Burch told the public that he would use his new role to bring a bond between Americans and religious heads in the Vatican City.
“The Catholic Church is the largest and most important religious institution in the world, and its relationship with the United States is important,” Burch said in a statement.
“I am committed to working with leaders inside the Vatican and Trump administration to promote the dignity and mangoes of all people.”
