Angels’ Rio Foster in critical condition after car accident

Richland, wash. , Los angels angels Minor Legier Rio Foster was in critical condition after a car accident on Friday morning.

Angels stated that Foster was involved in a car accident and outfielder “is receiving medical care in a local hospital and remains in a critical condition.”

Foster plays for Hi-A TRAI-City Dust Devils in Pasco. TRAI-City canceled its game against Hillsboro on Friday night.

Dust Devils posted on social media, “The entire Dust Devils’ views and prayers are with Rio Foster, who was a passenger in a car accident this morning.”

The 22-year-old Foster was a 16th round pick in the 2023 draft from Florence-Darlington Technical College in South Carolina. He is batting with 10 Homer and 40 RBI this season. 267 and was the Northwest League Player of the Month for August.
