Zelensky, Europeans highlight 'future security architecture' ahead of Trump meeting

Ukraine president and several European leaders said on Monday that the US should be a partner in creating future security architecture for Ukraine and the entire European continent.

This statement came after Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelansky Not huddle Along with European leaders at the Ukrainian Embassy in Georgetown before going to the White House to meet President Trump.

While Trump has refused to bring Ukraine to NATO, he has given some kind of security guarantee to the country as part of any peace agreement with Russia.

“The leaders welcomed the readiness of the United States to participate in the guarantee of security for Ukraine. A conversation with President Trump would have a joint participation of the United States and Europe in creating future security architecture for Ukraine, one of the major issues and as a result, for the entire European continent, it is said in the statement.

The signators of the statement included Finland Alexander Stub President, United Kingdom Prime Minister Kir Stormer, Italian Minister, President of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, European Commission Ursula von dera Leyen Chairman and NATO General Secretary Mark Rutete.
