CM Pank defeated Ganthar to become the WWE SummerSnam Knight 1 on Saturday to defeat the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WWE SummerSlam Night 1 at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, rival Seth Rolins posed for his money in bank contracts.
Pank won a gout match on “Raw” last month to earn Ganthar’s right to challenge Ganthar for the championship.
Knight 1 began with former members of The Bloodline, cousin Roman Rains and J. USO once again defeated Bron Breakkar and Bonson Reid in a tag team match. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss came together to defeat Rakil Rodrigue and Roxyne Perez. And Tiffany Starton defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Z Kargil.
The Country Music Artist Jelly Roll then started his professional wrestling in a tag team with Randy Orton. Drew McIntire and Logan Paul repeatedly threatened the newcomer on their way to win and introduced the jelly role in pain.
