When Punk, Knight and Uso all jumped into the ring and began debating who was most deserving of the next shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, the importance of the championship immediately increased. Rollins wasn’t even in the ring as the three top tier Superstars were verbally feuding over the thing that seemed most important to them all.
Afterwards, the tag team main event took place between Punk and Knight vs. Jay. jimmy uso Reminded everyone that there is beef around every corner in WWE. It’s like the Spiderman pointing meme.
The match between Rollins and Rhodes at Crown Jewel has the potential to be extremely entertaining, but we know that both champions will go their separate ways after the event. (For Rollins, this involves at least three forks in the road.) So it’ll be fun to see what the title picture looks like beyond those two after Crown Jewel.

• “Raw” set up an Australian Street Fight match at Crown Jewel Roman Reigns And bronson reedWhat are the differences between the Australian Street Fight and other WWE Street Fights? we are not sure. It seems like the rules are pretty close to this.
• Lynch vs. Dupree was a fun match with a creative ending that saw Lynch lose track and get counted out by the referee’s 10-count that increased in pace (especially at 8, 9, 10). Lynch brought it back up later, calling referee Jessica Carr “crooked”.
• Bayley, who was in Valkyria’s corner for her match with Perez, continued to show the duality of her personalities, bringing out her aggressive, mean side just minutes after being the charming, huggy version of Valkyria. It seems like this storyline is an explosion waiting to happen, and Valkyria will be the final victim, but not before Bayley and Valkyria team up for a tag match with Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, who Bayley and Valkyria jumped backstage with.
• Rollins pressed his manager Paul Heyman on what Heyman’s next step would be if Rollins lost to Rhodes again at Crown Jewel. To which Heyman responded, “I have to ask myself why I chose you over Roman Reigns.” Whether Rollins uses this as motivation or it turns out to be a crack in The Vision’s armor, much of the focus of this match has been on Rollins’ self-doubt and need to win, which makes the possibility of him losing again all the more interesting.
• At the end of last week’s “Raw”, it seemed like we might see a reformation of the original Bloodline, but this week has cast doubt on that notion, with Reigns, Jey and Jimmy Uso unable to get on the same page.
• After Styles got the pin for his team in a six-man tag match, he grabbed the mic, jumped onto the announcers’ table and told the story of his upcoming match. john cena Crown Jewel “writes itself,” and I agree. What I really want for the remainder of Cena’s retirement tour is some fun matches and stunt casts here and there.
