Harwood paid an emotional tribute on Instagram, calling Condrey “a true pioneer of professional wrestling” and revealing that the two would message after every match, and Condrey would always tell him what he liked and what needed improvement…no matter what Dax said would “never be lost” on him.

Harwood further explained that Condrey’s wife had given him the green light to establish a gofundme She is now left to fend for herself to help cover the funeral costs and bills.
DH is remembering his good friend “Loverboy” as half of what he calls the greatest tag team of all time – with The Midnight Express bobby eaton. He says he plans to honor Condrey’s legacy by keeping the spirit of Midnight Express alive.
Condrey rose to fame in the 70s and 80s, best known as one half of the legendary Midnight Express.
All Elite Wrestling paid tribute to Condrey in a post on Condrey officially retired from wrestling in 2011.
He was 74 years old.
