The first round of the 2026 Women’s NCAA Tournament is underway as teams look to advance in the bracket.
We’re taking a look at how each team fared on Friday, from upsets to blowouts and big performances.

TCU jumped out to an early lead, 15–4, and were not threatened by the Tritons, who shot only 23.0% from the field.
