Chicago – East White sox Lafti Mark Buhirley was immortalized inside the rate field forever as the team unveiled a statue in his honor on Friday.
The 46 -year -old Buharley played 16 years in Major, which included the first 12 with white Sox, where he helped the team win the world series in 2005. He won 214 games and played 200 innings in 14 consecutive sessions from 2001-2014.
“I can’t put it in words,” Beuharle said after the unveiling. “You don’t play the game for any of it. You never think about numbers retirement or idols. I can’t even wrap my head around it. It is not understood.”
The idol is an action shot that is throwing a pitch.
His wife and children were present and helped pull the cover to unveil the statue, while his 2005 companions saw. The event shut down a weekend reunion for the World Series team, which proceeded 11–1 in Postsen, beaten Houston Astros To take the title home in four matches.
Buehrle was a five-time all-star and four times Gold Glove winner, in 2005, Sai Young was in fifth place in voting.
“Well worthy,” former right fielder German dye said about the statue. “Great team partner. Great leader. There is definitely someone you want on a ballclub to lead a pitching staff.”
White Sox Rotation – led by Buhorley – threw four full games at ALCS against Boston Red Sox in 2005, recalled the fifth full game from 0.2 of an innings. It is an unheard of achievement in today’s game because as the beginning does not just go at the distance they used to do.
In addition to being a workheors, Buhorley was a sharp worker – his catcher, a favorite symptom of AJ Peerzinski. And he was not a person who threw a lot of different pitches. They caught it and threw it from the back of the plate without too much input.
“He was sharp,” said Pierzinski. “We had Zermen Die, who called the pitches from the right field from some games. We came to the things that you would not recommend to do people nowadays.”
Buehrle is a notorious low -major man who hates the spotlight, but even from the team’s decision to honor him with a sattu that includes former Slogger Herold Baines in the correct field.
“I was joking with him when I saw him,” Die said. “I told him that ‘man, it is receiving a statue to get you out of the house.”
Buhrley said: “I was really nervous as it can happen today. This is not my comfort zone, but in any way I am not taking it lightly. It is incredible.”
