What a disease in cats may teach us about long COVID

Felin infectious peritonitis, or FIP, is a serious and historically malignant disease in cats due to a coronvirus. It behaves in many ways such as severe coronavirus infections in humans, causing widespread swelling, tea cell exhaustion, and chronic immunity.
