Albuquerk, NM (Krqe) – This week the video operated on social media showed that American immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) agents appeared to be detained and tasking a man inside an albucker Walmart.
On Thursday, Ice confirmed the incident, stating that a man from Venezuela, who was illegally in the country, fled to the rush retail stores from agents.
The video shared with Nexstar’s KRQE featured three people, two of which were masks and visible strategic waste, which tried to detain a man at the end of a corridor inside the Walmart Store.
One of the agents used a tusser, and the man could be heard screaming and shouting before falling on the floor.
Ice said he was after the arrest of the man and “there was an immediate threat to the safety of agents, shopkeepers and employees.”
The ICE said in an email statement to KRQE that “to train American immigration and customs enforcement agents and authorities to judicial and agency policy and federal standards,” to train American immigration and customs enforcement agents and officials, “agents” deployed tasar to prevent “man” to prevent “man”.
An ICE spokesperson said that the Venezuela person was recently arrested for driving under influence by the Albuquerque Police Department to protest the arrest, develop the police and disrupt an officer.
The ICE wrote in its statement, “This person is considered a threat to the community given this pattern of behavior. These decisions are never made lightly, but the security and the safety of the public remains the top priorities.”
KRQE arrived in the police department for more information about Walmart to comment on the incident along with the person and his alleged prior arrest.
