Walz announces special election to fill seat of slain Minnesota Democrat

According to Walz’s office, a special election will be held on Tuesday with a special primary election for nomination of candidates on August 12.

Candidates are eligible to file with the State Secretary or County Auditors starting next Tuesday. The last day of filing is 22 July.
