According to Walz’s office, a special election will be held on Tuesday with a special primary election for nomination of candidates on August 12.
Candidates are eligible to file with the State Secretary or County Auditors starting next Tuesday. The last day of filing is 22 July.
The announcement was badly shot in the June 1 attack after Melissa, her husband Mark and her Golden Retriever, which was “described as” by the authorities “as”Politically motivated,
Melissa was a former house speaker, serving district 34B, which represents parts of Anoca and Henepin counties.
