Walmart recalls about 850,000 water bottles after 2 people blinded

,Whtm) – Walmart is recalling about 850,000 Ozark trail water bottles after several injuries, including two incidents, resulting in consumers suffering from permanent blindness, According to Consumer Excise Safety Commission (CPSC).

The CPSC stated that the scrap lid on the 64-ingented stainless steel water bottles “when” can get out tremendously “when it opens after food or beverages has been inside for a while”.

So far, CPSC says that it received three reports of people on the face from the bottom lid. Two people have suffered permanent vision loss after being hit in the eye.



Bottles, which have been sold in the nationwide Walmart Stores since 2017, are silver with a black lid and Ozark trail logo.

They tolerate model number 83-662 on product packaging, calling CPSC.

Consumers are urged to immediately use affected bottles. They can also return them to the nearest Walmart for full corruption.
