Companies introduce their AI tools through a new Federal Contracting Platform, Multiple Awards Schedule (MSA), which allow government agencies to reach AI tool sellers with pre-neutral contacts rather than interacting with vendors.
Bloomberg reports that the General Services Administration (GSA), who is in charge of MSA, said that technology companies were evited on the basis of security and performance.
The news focuses on AI development in view of executive orders by President Donald Trump, with adjustment of environmental standards to promote energy supply for data centers, as well as a instruction for federal agencies to use AI for federal agencies only to use AI which is “free from ideological prejudice”.
