,Newsination) – A quick flip through my passport and a small look at me. I met the border guard’s eyes for more than a moment.

Then.

Tip.

The sound of the stamp printing in a thin page serves as a wordless reception in Ukraine. The crossing from Poland was completed, and we were closed.

Greetings from war -torn Ukraine, where I will stay for the next few weeks. This is my first chance after the beginning of the war in 2022.

Some things are equally similar, others are different.

For example, as we passed through Lutsk above the border, the siren began to explode. I came from Israel during the so-called 12-day war, where Israel was taking risks quite seriously. In those 12 days, we ran into the bunkers countless times, holding our loved ones tightly, because Iran used to shed tears to their cheeks, fearing the ambush of Iran.

Here in Lutsk? No such fear. Siren did not stop the young couple that we saw from taking pictures outside the palace in the city. No one ran for shelter. While the alerts were closed, he included a wide area and there was an average Ukrainian (correctly in this case) that this danger was not coming in his way.

This is different from the early days of the war. I remember when places like Lutsk, Laviv and Ivano-Frankivusk will be regularly targeted, especially sensitive sites like airports.

So, this is a clear change. People in western Ukraine feel largely safe, at the inscribed value because life tries to take it to the new normal.

But tonight, our team is going towards Kiev, which we are using as the mainstay of our operation. The capital is calming the few evenings in the last few evenings, but still every night people undergone themselves in metro stations. It’s a differentNew normalCompared to Lutsk.

Nothing has changed? We face every few miles along the highway of the outposts. There was pressure in the early days to identify and identify Russian detectives and Saboters. This purpose is the same, a war of about three and a half years.

All of the next week, we will have some special reporting on Newsnation which we will share with you on your platform. We will show you a different aspect of war, as much as you have seen in the past – and why American authorities are looking eagerly because the war changes rapidly in front of our eyes.

But of course, the room has an elephant: there is a new President in the White House. The objectives of the new foreign policy are. And there is a fresh push to end this war.

Just this week,President Trump announced that he was implementing a “new time limit” on RussiaTo progress towards peace.

“I am going to create a new time limit of about 10 or 12 days from today,” the President told reporters in Scotland on Monday. “There is no reason to wait. This is 50 days, I want to be generous, but we are not seeing any progress right now.”

This will create a deadline for some time around 7-9 August based on the President’s words.

Will Russia compliance? Do Ukrainians believe that peace is possible? How are the things sitting in the Oval Office with the 47th President? All the questions we expect to answer.

But I want to open it to all of you as well. What are the questions about Ukraine? From geopolitics to day by day, I want to know where your curiosity is guiding you.

When I was 25 years old, I found myself in an aircraft for Europe on which Russia attacked. That experience changed me forever. I documented many of the stories in my upcoming book, “Leson from the Front”, through which you can pre-orderHeroic,Barnes and NobleOrBloomsbury,
