UFC CEO Dana White has no intention of booking John jones Despite Jones’s interest, for the proposed program of promotion at the White House in 2026.
38 -year -old Jones, an UFC Heavyweight Title Title against Interim Champion, retired from MMA in June instead of accepting the bout. Tom aspinolA few weeks after its retirement, however, Jones announced that he was planning a comeback citing UFC’s plans to host a program at the White House.
Despite Jones’s desire to fight on the card, White considered everyone on Saturday.
“I won’t bet on this,” White said during the UFC 319 Postfite News Conference in Chicago. “If I had to create obstacles, it is a 1st obstacle from one billion, I put John Jones on the White House Card.”
White has cited Jones’ incredibility as it is a reason to get it out of the incident. Jones is widely considered the largest MMA fighter of all time, but has been involved in some legal issues outside the competition. UFC was several times forced to strip his title Jones when he was arrested and accused in New Mexico with a hooliganism hit-and-run in New Mexico. He is facing criminal allegations to quit an accident scene in February.
In 2016, UFC made major changes in its landmark UFC 200 event in Las Vegas, when Jones were flagged off for a possible doping violation of the week’s week. He was suspended for a year due to violation.
