Movser Ivloev crashed a London party in enemy territory on Saturday night, defeating Leron Murphy by majority decision in an impressive performance amid a backdrop of a hostile crowd.
Avloev (20-0) remains undefeated and will now surely be next in line for a shot at Alexander Volkanovski’s featherweight belt.
In front of a bouncy O2, Murphy (17-1-1) failed to really prove himself against the No. 1 contender, despite a bright start, and although a point taken from Ivlov for low blows in the fourth round increased the chances of a draw, it ultimately did not matter as Russian Ivlov silenced the crowd in the English capital.
