New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback tyler shaw Has not publicly campaigned for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. His game and his teammates have done it for him.

So I can’t wait to build around that. … I’m looking forward to the future.”
Sunday’s win was Shaw’s fifth in eight starts. It is the first time since Drew Brees quarterbacked New Orleans in 2020 that the Saints are on a winning streak of at least four games.
Shaw won with backup due to several injuries on offense. Rookie quarterback said that’s why the Saints have won without players like Alvin Kamara Or Neal, who recently went on injured reserve, says expectations remain high no matter who plays.
“We’re here for a reason, we’re going to go out there and get the job done,” Shaw said. “It’s not like, ‘Oh man, if we had this, or this would be a good opponent.’ Let’s go out there and play football, man. That’s why you do it. And this is my message. What a wonderful opportunity. Next guy up, now you have to go make the play and everybody moved on. Everyone did.”
Olave took treatment all weekend for a back problem and said he made the effort because he wanted to play a 17-game season for the first time, and he hoped to help Shaw win the award.
