At least two people were killed and three were admitted to the hospital in a shooting outside a casino in Reno, Nev in the early hours of Monday.
A gunman set fire to the Grand Sierra Resort Casino and shot several people before taking into custody, police said, an officer replied with bullets after identifying the suspect.
A police statement said, “The officials immediately located the suspect that an officer involved in the shooting shot,” a police statement said.
“The suspect was taken into custody and taken to a local area hospital. The situation at the moment is unknown. There is no constant threat to the public.”
Reno Police spokesman Chris Johnson said the conditions of the victims were not immediately known.
