Trump says White House ballroom will be ‘a little bigger’ than initially described

President Trump said in a weekend interview that the White House Ballroom will initially be “slightly larger” than the plan.

One in Telephone Interview Saturday With NBC News, Trump said Ballroom would have a capacity of 900 people, which would be about 40 percent larger than the estimates provided by the White House in late July.

Trump told NBC News, “We are making it a little bigger. It will be at the top of the line, the better it can be found anywhere in the world.”

White House press secretary Karolin Levitt Said in late July The construction was scheduled to start on the ballroom in September and will end Trump’s tenure before ending in January 2029. He estimated that the Ballroom cost $ 200 million and 650 people would have a seating capacity.

He said that Ballroom will be built near the White House where the East Wing sits. He said that the eastern wing would be “modern” and would be temporarily transferred during office construction.

“White House State Ballroom would be a great need and excellent addition of 90,000 square feet,” Levitt said that this summer has been stated that the large sitting capacity will end the need for a “big and vulgar tent” to host the state dinner and other major events.

Trump reiterated in NBC News interview that the cost should be at least in part, by donors, or “patriots”, as they referred to them.
