President Trump announced on Saturday that he was nominating Tammy Bruce, spokesperson of the current state department as the next US Deputy Representative of the United Nations (United Nations).

Bruce, a former Fox News contributor, Selected To join the State Department by Trump in January. Bruce, a writer of several books, joined Fox News in 2005.
Since joining administration, Bruce has held dozens of State Department Press briefing.

The US Ambassador to the United Nations is Dorothy Sheya. Sheya, a career diplomat, first worked as a deputy ambassador during 2024.
