Several thousand users reported problems with Outlook on Thursday morning, as Microsoft admitted that users could have issues of reaching their mailbox.
According to the detector, more than 2,700 users were reporting problems in the form of ET at 11:45 am, there were issues that emerged early on Wednesday night.
Microsoft said on Thursday morning that it had determined the cause of the problem and was deploying a fix.
The tech veteran mentioned on his service health page that he was expected to take a “extended period”, although a latter update suggested that it was “rapid progress than anticipated”.
In its most recent update, Microsoft said, “We are continuing to implement configuration changes to complete additional verification efforts to fix the underlying problem and configure the certification components properly.”
“Parallel to the current certification of the configuration change fix, we are reviewing the options to take advantage of an early deployment functioning in areas that are experienced the highest level of impact to provide the most effective relief,” said this.
