The Memo: Trump fuels Epstein furor he wants to escape

President Trump and his colleague Jeffrey are desperate to move beyond the Epstein controversy – but their own words and work are adversely affected.

Trump’s decision to sue the Wall Street Journal on an Epstein related story, for his administration’s choice Journal to barFrom a group of reporters, who will cover the upcoming visit of the President in Scotland, and the eagerness of speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) The eagerness is eager to avoid a house vote on the manifestation of Epstein content. All were given fresh fuelFor the story.

The self-proclamation aspect of this approach was typed by a social media post, which is issuing Trump.

Tuesday afternoon, President mournedThat the first six months of his second term was being reduced because “Jeffrey Epstein Hocx wants to talk about all fake news!”

Of course, his post gave the media another reason to talk about it.

The feeling of crawling anxiety from the White House in the case of Epstein is a will for the unusual discord occurring within the Trump base.

Trump’s amazing political return, from Nadir of Capital Riot on 6 January, 2021, to win back the White House last November, his “Make America Great Again” (Maga) was enabled by the fierce loyalty of supporters-and by a party that has increased sometimes to cross it.

Epstein case is an unusual exception. Republican elected officials have proved unusually prepared to break with the President – or at least causing some discomfort for him.

Even the speaker has called for more “transparency” around Epstein, although he has recently tried to shut down an alleged gap between himself and Trump.

But rape. Ralph Norman (RS.C.) on social media on Tuesday called for a vote to disclose the so-called Epstein files-the same thing that is proceeding to throw Johnson. Norman said that Republican “should vote on it before the August holiday and complete it !!”

Rape Tim Burchet (R-Ten.) Has also asked to release the material, while the rape Thomas Massi (R-K)-who has been in front of the attempt-is now in the open disregard of Trump.

Massey Noted in an x post On Tuesday, he introduced “the only binding Congress law” to release Epstein content, and “in return, the attacks on me intensified.”

Massey included a screenshot of a trump social media attack in his message, in which the President “the worst Republican Congress” and “a real lose!” In return, Massi used the attack to try to support his supporters to support money so that he could “live in the ring.”

Of course, the big picture is that the speaker’s reluctance to vote is giving more ammunition to those who suspect that there is something to hide Trump. Massey told reporters on Tuesday morning that Johnson feels that his party’s colleagues have to “stick their heads in the sand” on the issue.

It is a public record that Trump and Epstein, Badnaam Financers and Sexual Hunters were friendly familiar in the 1990s and early 2000s for years. Trump called Epstein a “terrible man” in the 2002 New York magazine profile and also noted Epstein’s hobby for women as “youth side”.

It is also known that the two were out later, although the exact reason has never been established. Some reports cite a competitive battle on real estate, others cut into contact with Epstein, as the future president’s Mar-e-Lago Club was later treated unfairly.

Trump’s legal suit against Wall Street Journal Centers on the news organization’s claim stated that Trump’s birthday message was included in an album in 2003 to mark Epstein’s 50th birthday. Trump emphasizes the story, and the alleged letters are false.

In the context of the politics of the overall case, Trump sown at least in relation to his colleagues. People around Trump stopped the general doubt of all the circumstances around Eptin, who died – apparently from suicide – facing allegations of sex trafficking in 2019.

The current storm was set up the opposite storm between the comments made by Attorney General Palm Bandy in February during the Fox News interview – where he said that a list of Epstein’s customers was “sitting on my desk for review” – and one and one and one and one Deserted memorandumEarlier this month, the FBI and the Department of Justice, stating that “No Employees’ client list” could be found.

The real angst was set in the Trump Base, which had several maga-shocking number of commentators.

The relatively short voting in relation to Epstein underlines the political crisis for the President. An economist/yougov pole rejected the Americans released on Tuesday to handle Trump’s Epstein probe by a big margin. Fifty percent rejected and only 22 percent approved.

Significantly, 1 out of 4 Republicans rejected the President’s actions, and an additional 30 percent rejected an opinion to express an opinion. Only 45 percent of the Republican approved how Trump handled the case.

They are unusually bad figures for Trump among the Republicans.

It is not very surprising about the huge rejection of the President’s operation to handle the dispute between Democrats (only 7 percent approved), but it is also telling that independents Came out against61 percent to 15 percent in their works.

At the moment, at least, Trump is stuck, and new growths are thick and faster. A announcement from Bondi’s social media account on Tuesday stated that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanches would meetClose its new round of speculation as potential inverted objectives with Ghislane Maxwell. In 2022, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years for conspiring in Epstein’s misconduct.

Trump has tried to turn the page repeatedly. So far, unusually, it has not worked.
