Jupiter Links Golf Club took on Los Angeles Golf Club in the opener of the TGL Championship on Monday night at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The second match will take place on Tuesday at 7 PM ET, with the third match, if necessary, taking place at 9 PM on the same night.
Los Angeles staged a late comeback to defeat Jupiter Lynx 6–5 in a hard-fought game. For Jupiter Links the match came down to the last shot on the final hole. Kisner came up short shortly after, giving LAGC a 1–0 lead in the best-of-three series.

Kim faces Jupiter
After the match was tied 1–1 by Jupiter Links on hole 6, Kim stepped up to No. 7 for her team. Kim made a putt about eight feet and Fleetwood could not answer, missing by just over three feet and giving Jupiter a 2-1 lead.

Rose tied the match
Jupiter’s lead did not last long, as Los Angeles tied the match at 2–2 on the next hole. On his team’s third shot, Rose hit the ball from 35 feet out, while Homa missed from 13 feet, seven inches.

LAGC wins on hole 15
Trailing 5–4 with the match tied, Los Angeles made it worth two points with a hammer blow before hole 15. For Los Angeles, Thegala holed out in four shots, leaving the fate of the match dependent on Kisner’s fourth shot from about 22 feet away.
Kisner almost hit a chip shot, as the ball stopped just six inches from the hole.
