Texas Senate on Tuesday passed a GOP-friendly house map, giving it a step near the last route in the state legislature.
The Upper Chamber voted 19–2 to pass a new set of Congress lines, which will give Republicans five pick-up opportunities before 2026, trying to pass the State House.
A group of Senate Democrats left the session, In a statement“We went out because this session should be about relief from floods, not politics. Texas deserve the leaders who put people first.”

The Texas House Committee carried forward its house map earlier this month, but the house has stopped to stop at efforts to vote on the floor as the Texas Democrats is out of the state to deprive the Republican of a quorum, or the minimum number of MPs required to operate the business.
The Texas House needs to pass the map of the new Congress before the Texas Gove Greg Abbott (R).
Opponents have already indicated that they are ready to sue the map after passing.
“Under this new, even worse, the National Democratic Redisting Committee (NDRC) President John Bisogno said in a statement, targeting millions of Texas -Rung Texas – his voices will be silent.”
“Do not make any mistake, if Texas Republican implements this discriminatory map, they will face the Swift, significant resistance to people and courts.”
