Abbott went on Tuesday in response to a question with a Pigskin analogy that who was blamed for the flash flood that killed at least 109 people in Central Texas.
The governor says that every inch of the loan star state loves its football – high school, college or NFL – and Texas should take a cue from their favorite teams and resort to conviction others when things go wrong.
Abbott says that every football team makes mistakes … but separates the winners from the loser of how they react to the failure … and no good team ever tried to tell who was blamed.
The governor also says that “defect” is the word of loser’s choice. “
Abbott said that 161 people were missing and 109 confirmed the dead with flash floods.
