Albuquerk, NM (Krqe) – A deadly shooting has inspired the University of New Mexico to release a shelter on its Albuquerque Central Campus on Friday morning.
Officials said the UNM police on Friday received a report of firing at the Housing Center of Casas Del Rio (Gila) located in 420 Redondo Dr NE. Officials who replied found that two persons were shot. One victim was killed, and the other saw non-janleva injuries.
The suspect lives on a large scale and can still be in the premises, the UNM said in alert.
A lobo alert announcing the shelter in the place was sent on social media on social media on social media, and the authorities asked people to escape from the central campus, which was closed.
“The subject with a gun is largely on the police scene. If in the premises, continue shelter in place,” reads the latest alert, sent before 7 am local time.

Many law enforcement agencies are on the scene and are actively investigating. Anyone who knows about the incident is asked to call UNMPD on 505-277-2241.
