Matchup set for Super Bowl LX Seattle Seahawks but favored new England Patriots To take home the Lombardi Trophy. The biggest single event in American sports always carries big stakes.
Since the summer, bookmakers have been speculating on the outcome of this game, and the bets will finally be settled on February 8. Here are some of the biggest bets – based on odds, stakes and potential wins – tracked so far:

In August, a retail bettor at BetMGM in Nevada placed three separate $50,000 futures on the Seahawks, as first reported by Yahoo Sports and confirmed to ESPN by the sportsbook. The Seahawks making the playoffs at +185 were given $92,500 in cash and the Seahawks winning the NFC at +2800 were given $1.4 million in cash. Bettors still have Seattle Super Bowl tickets at +6000 odds that will earn $3 million if successful.

On Monday, Circa Sports director of operations Jeffrey Benson announced that the sportsbook has placed a $1.1 million bet on the Patriots money line at +188, which would amount to approximately $2.1 million if New England wins outright.

DraftKings placed a $10,000 futures bet on the Patriots to win the Super Bowl at +8000, which would pay $800,000 if the win occurred.

In November, BetMGM accepted a $30,000 bet on New England to win the Super Bowl at +2200, totaling $660,000 if successful.

In late August, Circa surprisingly placed a $100 bet at 3100-1 on the exact outcome of the Super Bowl being the Seahawks over the Patriots. If the exact result is obtained the bettor will win $310,000.

On January 14, Caesars Sportsbook placed a $32,000 bet on the Seahawks at +275 odds to win $88,000; Less than two weeks later, it placed a $40,000 bet on the Patriots at +260 for a potential net win of $104,000.

DraftKings accepts a $500 bet on the Seahawks at +65000 to win $32,500.

In the Caesars, a bettor in Nevada placed a $55,000 bet on the Patriots +4.5 (-108) for a win of approximately $51,000, while a bettor in New Jersey placed a bettor $36,000 on the Seahawks -4.5 (-109) for a win of approximately $33,000, according to the sportsbook’s head of football Joey Feasel, who Said that the bet came. The odds increased “within seconds” after the NFC Championship.
