New research presented at the annual meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) in Austria, Austria (15–19 September) shows that living in rural environment may increase the risk of developing type 1 diabetic in comparison with living in urban environment due to living in rural environment in the first five years of life.
