According to ESPN sources, Soursby is set to fly out to visit Texas Tech on Friday and from there will travel to Baton Rouge. He is the No. 1 ranked player in ESPN’s portal rankings and is a coveted player at two programs in need of a quarterback.
There are currently more than 4,000 Division I football players in the NCAA transfer portal, which opened Friday.
Sorsby is considered the top running back on that team after throwing for 2,800 yards, rushing for 580 and accounting for 36 combined touchdowns this year. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
He has thrown for 7,208 yards and 60 TDs in his career since Indiana In 2022. He went to Cincinnati in 2024 and flourished there under coach Scott Satterfield.
