East Rutherford, NJ – John Harbaugh and New York Giants “We are working on finalizing an agreement to make him our next head coach and, barring any setbacks, an agreement is expected,” sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday night.
The deal is not final and contract numbers are still being negotiated, with a source telling Schefter: “There’s still a lot of work to do.”
But sources said that barring any setbacks, Harbaugh is ready to accept the Giants’ deal and the team expects to hire him as soon as possible.
