Snapchat will now let your friends know you’ve made it home safe

Snapchat is starting a new way for users to tell their friends and family that they are called “Home Safe”, called “Home Safe”, the social network declared on Thursday.

To use the convenience, you have to set your bitmosy on the snap map and set your home space and then “my house.” When you get out and want to inform a friend when you go home, open the conversation, tap on the map icon, and then the home safe button.

After reaching home, your friend will receive an automatic alert in your chat conversation.

Snapchat notes that alert can only be sent to friends you already share your place. Also, since sharing the location on the snap map is closed by default, no one can see your location or unless you choose to share it, no house can receive a safe warning.
