Science Committee Dems call for Lutnick to address NWS staffing

House Democrats on Science, Space and Technology Committee called Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik to address the National Meteorological Service (NWS) employees in a letter.

It is written in the letter, “We write you to seek your testimony before the committee on science, space and technology about the lack of employees in the National Weather Service (NWS),” written in the letter.

“NWS is an important public safety agency.
