Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Monday expressed skepticism over President Trump’s claim that the US and Iran are negotiating a resolution to the weeks-long conflict. Schiff explained, “If what the president is saying is true, then that’s encouraging. But of course, we’ve heard the president say things that have been proven to be completely false in the past.”
