
Satisfaction with the direction of the country reached its lower point of second term in the office of President Trump, Latest Gallop PollHowever, ideas are widely more positive than before taking over.
Twenty -nine percent of the survey respondents say they are satisfied “The way things are going on in the United States at this time,” compared to 67 percent, who say they are dissatisfied and 4 percent say that they have no opinion, according to the survey, which was held in the first half of September.
This is a slight decline in satisfaction from 31 percent recorded in August, 33 percent in July and 31 percent in June.
Trump’s highest satisfaction rating of the second term was recorded in May, when 38 percent of the respondents were satisfied. After high marks than seen in recent surveys: 34 percent in April, 37 percent in March and 34 percent in February, when the question was first asked during Trump’s second term.
Despite taking a dip in satisfaction, the Americans are more satisfied than the way the country is running in the country today, as they were already working before Trump’s post.
In the January survey conducted before the start of Trump’s second term, only 20 percent of the respondents were satisfied with the direction of the country.
In fact, the last time the rate of satisfaction reached the 30 percent range, in July 2021, in the post of former President Biden in a few months. Biden enjoyed satisfaction rates in the mid -30s during the first six months of his presidential president, but they did not heal completely.
The decline in satisfaction in the September survey is largely inspired by a dip between the Republicans – 68 percent of which they say they are satisfied with things, below 76 percent in August.
The satisfaction rate of independence remains stable at 23 percent, and the Democrat ‘is unchanged similarly, at 1 percent.
The period in which the survey was conducted included Charlie Kirk’s deadly shoots, which Gallop suggested that Republican could affect reactions.
The same survey asks respondents about the “most important problem facing this country”, and the mention of crime or violence is more than double, jumps from 3 percent to 8 percent in September in August. The latest result is the highest level since August 2020, which was the highest since 2002.
Gallup noted that Uptik was seen most intense after the murder of Kirk’s sept 10 in the mention of the crime.
The survey was conducted on 2–16 September and included 1,000 respondents. The margin of error is 4 percent points.
