Portrash, Northern Ireland – Twelve hours later Rory McLeroy Wrapped in each other at the Scottish Open near Edinburgh, the five -time prominent winner moved to the first T in the Royal Portrash at around 7 am, and started his first practice round before this year’s open championship.
The fans were still cheating on the field and no other player was within the vision because McLaroy made his way around a golf course, where he still owns the course record – a 61 when he was just 16 years old. By the time he turned the back nine, the crowd grew up and this time as a Grand Slam champion, looking at McLero’s home to return home.
“The fact that I am in portrash with a green jacket here, after fulfilling that lifelong dream, I want to perform my best this week, which enjoys everything coming in my way and enjoys the fans’ response and enjoys being in front of them and enjoys playing in front of them,” McLOROOOI said. “But at the same time, I want to win this golf tournament, and I think I am very capable of doing so.”
The last time when the Open Championships came in Portrash at 2019, McLero said that she was unprepared for what kind of emotional experience she would be. After receiving an ovation on the first T, Mcilroy excluded his tea shot and made an 8. He will proceed to remember the cut. This week, McLero says, he is taking a slightly different view.
“I think in 19, I probably tried to isolate,” said McClero. “And I think it is better for everyone if I embrace it.”
On Monday, after hitting the 18th T 3-Lohe, hitting its vision on green and drowning in a Burdy put, which removed a decent size cheering from the gallery, McLero spent enough time to sign a memorial for local fans in appearance. He signed the flags and hats of countless yellow pin, but also on the flag of a huge northern Ireland, which showed all four major championships and called it a “Rory Legend”. A child also grabbed a green suit jacket in a different shade of green compared to the masters, which was also signed by McLero.

Demand for Portrash this week – it will be through wind, rain or simply bottleneck difficulty of the course, but McLero says that it is much better in headspace to challenge. After playing below his level at the PGA Championship and slowing down at the US Open, McLero herself admitted that he was struggling with inspiration after a long -awaited masters win. It opened at home, however, no additional motivation is required.
“When I was looking at the calendar for 2025, it was the tournament that was more than the Masters,” he said. “I have done something that I have told everyone that I wanted to do, but then it is as if I still feel that I have a lot to give … I still feel that there is still a lot left. The story is definitely not over.”
