Republicans should be wary of making Mamdani the Democrat poster boy

We are all familiar with Clich “Be careful what you want.” Of course, Clich becomes clichin, because not more often, they prove true or serve as an indicator of a regularly repeated patterns.

Late, there is speculation that President Trump and the Republican Party would “like it”, if far-left, socialist, zealist Zoharan Mammadani was elected Mayor of New York City in November. This is true for some Republican, of course. For Trump, I doubt it.

In An article This week, on this site, “Trump questioned the knots” tied to lumps “in New York”: How much should they win the best to handle Mamdani for Trump and GOP? The consensus seems to be that if Mamdani wins, Trump would like to nonstop him next year as a “out-of-touch Socialist”, who try to provoke the Democrat nation in view of the unsuccessful policies.

Finally, I do not see Trump taking that path. This will add oxygen to a growing far-away populous story, which not only pushes “free to me”, but that the rich is blamed for the plight of the poor and disintegrated and hence they should be taxed at the highest rate as punishment for their “sins”.

Political history shows us from time to time that “is free to me” and “rich what you are responsible for” has always worked to some extent with some constituencies. Not only does Trump know this, but he understands that far-left populist Mamdani is getting better with his messaging and will get help if the President and GOP make him the face on the left. This is much better, then, instead of increasing her in mythological position to attack her unsuccessful policies.

At this point, while I have been a fan of Kayle Mechanney, former press secretary of the White House for a long time, I recently raise the issue with the matter said on Fox News. An guess about the possible choice of the case, Macenany said“For the sake of New York City, you don’t want to do this completely. But for the Republican party, what foil it will be.”

Then, for me, it “be careful what you want.” If someone was writing a strategy paper for Republican, a clear strategy would be that he would carry forward Mamdani, while he would have to carry forward the face of the Democratic Party. But such a strategy will ignore or reduce two seriously important realities.

The first is that most of the mainstream media is still in the tank for Democrats. It has been accepted, this week the current events demonstrated why a party has never a good idea to control the national story. The latest examples are disgusting and frightening comments by some people in liberal media that are associated with the killing of Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk. After this, “nothing to see here” is the media, the media has ignored the shocking videotapped murder of a young woman Ukrainian refugee in Charlotte, NC on a large scale.

Leftists never pay the entire price for their errors because most of it has a weez -like hold on major media. As I wrote this, the story is once again coming back against Trump and Republican party with the left noise machine.

None of these people should come as a surprise for any person who follows power and politics. As I have insisted in the past in the last five decades, the Left has taken majority control over what the Left has called “five megaphones of our nation” – media, academics, entertainment, science and medicine.

Republican needs to understand that come in 2026 and 2028, it will still be the case. If they do not get it, I can assure them that Mamdani, their team and democrats and that reality is cooked in every strategy.

The next potentially growing attraction of “Mamdani effects” is that many poor, working-class or disintegrated people will vote for the candidate by promising “chicken in every vessel”, as well as ignoring their failed policies to convict “rich”. Mamdani’s face of foil and democrats awakens millions of struggling Americans for “Free for Me” Crift.

At the moment, many powerful voices at the Democratic Party are still tipping around Mamdani and her socialist messages. However, if she not only wins massively in November, but there is evidence that her socialist policies will travel quite well from the city of New York, those leaders-prostrated will start hugging and embracing their movement for self-service reasons.

The Republican Party Mamdani may be “thrilled” as a foil. But don’t forget, “Be careful what you want” became a clinch for a reason.
