Did you regret opposing it, seeing that there was no violence, and there were 700,000 people who wanted to express themselves that day?” Ruskin said.
“I have not opposed the people standing in favor of the people living in Gaza,” Faraj replied. “There was a special day, and it was the nearest Sunday on 11 November, when we had large monument services in London. And I think the march being allowed to move forward that day would have been a mistake. Any other day, it’s fine.”
“Oh, I’m watching. Who’s to decide?” Ruskin retreated.
“Well, I think there is something really something that is embedded in the country, something that is absolutely original,” Faraj replied.
“This is why we have a written constitution,” Ruskin cut, “you may want to take that idea back to the UK with you. Because the right to free speech applies 365 days in the year under the first amendment, not 364, 363, some politicians depend on the government’s hecking.”
