Los Angeles–A woman has filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles puka nakua are accusing rams The wide receiver made “unprovoked anti-Semitic statements” and was later bitten on the shoulder.
The lawsuit cites sexual violence, assault and battery and negligence.
The plaintiff, Madison Atiyabi, alleged that the incidents occurred on New Year’s Eve in Century City. In court documents obtained by ESPN, Atiyabi said Nacua said, “To all Jews,” and that she “immediately felt uncomfortable and emotionally distressed” because of her Jewish faith.
Later in the trial, Atiyabi said she was in the car with Nakuya when he “forcibly” bit her on her left shoulder, “leaving a circular impression of his teeth on her body.” The lawsuit also alleges that Necua bit his friend’s thumb in the car “with such force that his companion screamed in intense pain.”
The woman applied for a temporary restraining order, but that request was denied. A hearing is scheduled for April 14, according to multiple reports.
News of the case First reported by TMZ. Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, said in a statement obtained by ABC News that Nacua denies the allegations in the lawsuit “in the strongest possible terms” and that he has video evidence that “underscores” that “Atiyabi’s behavior and actions are inconsistent with the allegations made.”
McCathern said in the statement that “numerous testifying witnesses have stated unequivocally that Puka never made comments such as Ms. Atiyabi’s claim” and called it a “blatant lie.”
He described Necua’s cutting of Atiyabi’s shoulder as “horse-riding”. to the los angeles times.
“In the months that followed, our office was contacted and asked to pay millions of dollars in exchange for not publicizing these allegations,” McCathern said in a statement obtained by ABC News. “This is not a valid legal claim – this is blackmail.”
McCathern said he would file a defamation suit against Atiyabi on behalf of Necua and “pursue all available legal remedies in response to these false and damaging statements.”
The lawsuit comes after a few days Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jackson Smith-Njigba Agreed to a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history. Nacua, who recently completed his third season in the NFL in 2025, is also eligible for a contract extension this offseason.
“The timing of the claimant’s recent legal action – three months after the alleged incident and just days after JSN’s record-breaking contract as a wide receiver – underscores the complete lack of credibility behind these allegations,” McCathern said in a statement obtained by ABC News.
ESPN has also contacted Nacua’s agent for comment.
In December, Nakua issued a statement apologizing for the emotional display On an Internet livestream that was “anti-Semitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against the Jewish people.”
Nakua performed this gesture on a livestream with two Internet streamers, who suggested he perform the gesture as part of his next touchdown celebration. In the statement, Nakua said that “at the time he had no knowledge of the nature of the gesture”, which is linked to anti-Semitic themes.
At the time of the December incident, Rhames issued a statement saying, “There is no place in this world for anti-Semitism, as well as other forms of prejudice or hostility, toward the Jewish people and people of any religion, ethnicity or race.”
