Progressive James Solomon defeats McGreevey in Jersey City mayor's race


Progressive Jersey City Councilman James Solomon is projected to defeat former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey (D) in the Jersey City mayoral election, according to Decision Desk Headquarters. Solomon defeated McGreevey, who resigned as governor in 2004 after revealing she had an extramarital affair with a man, in Tuesday’s election.
