chairman Donald Trump A major disaster declaration for Ker County, Texas has approved – the horrific flood site that has already claimed the lives of at least 59 people, including 21 children.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump says, “These families are tolerating an unimaginable tragedy, which have lost many lives, and many are still missing.”
The announcement is currently engaged in large -scale search and recovery efforts throughout the region to assist more than 400 first respondents for important federal assistance and resources.
59 confirmed deadly, 38 adults and 21 are children. Officials also say that 12 persons associated with the camp Mystic – 11 camper and 1 counselor – are unaware for.
The search teams are combing through flood -filled areas around the Gwadalup river as the desperate families are waiting for the news of the missing loved ones.
The White House and FEMA are coordinating with Texas officials to support assistance distribution and ongoing rescue operations.
