Pope Leo XIV on Sunday pressed the United States and Cuba to hold “an honest and effective dialogue” following the recent souring of relations between the two countries. “I have received extremely disturbing news regarding the increase in tensions between two neighboring countries, Cuba and the United States,” the Pope said in a message.
