Police responding to 'horrific act of violence' at Minneapolis school, governor says

Local, state and federal officials responded on Wednesday Report of an active shooter At a Catholic school in Miniapolis, officials said.

“I am given information about a shoot at Announcement Catholic School and we will continue to provide updates to get more information. The BCA and the state petrol are on the scene,” the village Tim Walz (D-Mainon). Wrote online,

“I am praying for my children and teachers, whose first week of school came from this frightening work of violence.”

Mayor Jacob Fre (D) wrote Post On X that he was “monitoring the report of frightening violence in South Miniapolis”.

He said, “I am in touch with Chief O’Hara and our emergency response team has become active. We will share more information as soon as possible,” he said.

“Please give our officers the place they need to respond to the situation.”
