Custwia-supported AI Design Startup Visual Electric Said that it is joining search startup perplexity today. The company mentioned on its site that the team would join the perplexity in a new agent experience group.
Aravind Srinivas, CEO of Perplexity, confirmed the acquisition with a post on X.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Startup Said As part of the infection, it will turn off the visual electric as a product in 90 days. It states that users will be able to export their data, and subscribers will receive refunds.
Visual Electric was founded in 2022 by Colin Dunn, a former Facebook and Dropbox employee, Adam Men’s, a former Apple employee and Zach Steigalbout, a former Microsoft Engineer. The equipment, for the purpose of designers, allows users to create images using AI and apply editing on an infinite canvas.
The idea was that designers should create a whiteboard ideas and concepts. Over time, the company also added support for the video generation. The startup raised $ 2.5 million in funding from Sex Group and Designer Funds.
