Pereira reclaims title in 80-second TKO of Ankalaev at UFC 320

Las Vegas – Alex Perera Said that he was not back in March when he surrendered his UFC Light Heavyweight title Magomed Anklev In a five-round decision. Saturday’s rematch indicated that he was not lying.

Perera (14–3) reconstructed the 205-Pound Championship in the major fashion in UFC 320, completing Anklev (21–2-1) through TKO in just 80 seconds.

It was a stunning upset with what happened seven months ago, when Perera became his first loss in the weight class, which appeared hesitated and timid. In Saturday’s rematch, he practically ran out of his corner and removed Anklev without absorbing any strike.

Perera said through an interview in his postering octagon interview, “Valice is never a good thing, it is sometimes like a poison.” “I told everyone that I was not in good position last time. Everyone saw it tonight.”

Prior to Remach, Perera’s team told ESPN that he fought with a fragmented tibia in March. He was also ill in the weeks before the incident and was placed on antibiotics. After damage to Anklev, he took some time from the gym, and it clearly paid.

Perera on Saturday made himself vocal as an aggressive from the opening bell, immediately dropped her into the chin with the right hand and ended the contest with the elbow from the top location.

This was Perera’s relatively low MMA career’s 12th knockout win. He was a two-vajan champion in a professional kickboxing career from 2012 to 2021.
