Harrisburg, Pa. (Whtm) – Pennsylvania village. Josh Shapiro (D) signed eight bills in the law on Monday.
All bills passed with bilateral support. They include modifications that release boats, update the existing military and pharmaceutical laws of the state and prepared to host the FIFA World Cup and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
House Bill 103
The House Bill 102, sponsored by rape Anita Kulik (D-Eligheni County), amends the title 30 (fish) of Pennsylvania, which consolidates the law to address and enhance the punishment for risks, derived and abandoned boats.
Under the law, local law enforcement can check abandoned boats in their jurisdiction. Additionally, boat owners are financially responsible for removing abandoned boats, 30 days to claim ownership of an abandoned boat and face a summary crime to release a boat. A first crime comes with $ 500 fine, which grows after additional crimes.
The law is effective in 180 days.
House Bill 309
The House Bill 309, sponsored by the rape Frank Burns (D-Commerce County), prepares penylvania for hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Countries around the world will send their teams to Philadelphia next year, and it consists of team physicians.
Bill amended the Osteopathic Medical Practice Act to allow the team doctors to travel internationally with their club or national team to treat their own players during the game without the need for Pennsylvania medical license. Such security was earlier extended to doctors outside the state only.
The law is immediately effective.
House Bill 354
Sponsored by House Bill 354, Rape Jared Solomon (D-Filladelphia County), “What is your pencilvania story?” Installs guidelines for a program called.
The law directs the PA Education Department to develop education materials before the 250th anniversary of the United States that will encourage students to share their personal experiences and connections for both Pennsylvania and the United States.
The Act is effective in 30 days.
House Bill 799
House Bill 799, sponsored by Rape Daniel Desis (D-Alegheni County), amends the title 51 (military matters) of the integrated law of Pennsylvania, provides for the benefits and service of veterans for posting; And making an editorial change.
Law employers in Pennsylvania must display a poster:
- PA Department’s contact and website information for military and legendary matters
- Information and contact for a series of federal and state benefits and services for families of veterans and veterans
- Contact information for United States Department of Veterans Affairs Crisis Line
- Contact information for county directors of veteran cases
The law applies to employers with more than 50 full -time employees. It is effective in 90 days.
House Bill 865
The House Bill 865, sponsored by rape Arvind Venkat (D-Eligheni County), amends the title 51 (military affairs) of the Pennsylvania consolidated law in the educational aid program.
Amendments provide repetition of defections, eligibility requirements and grant payments.
In the military family education program, this military family education program provides definition, eligibility, limitations and recurrence of grant payment. A noticeable change is clarifying that a National Guard member is eligible for an additional MFEP assistance grant every time additional dependents, which re -enforce the member.
The law is effective in 60 days.
Senate bill 90
Sponsored by Senate Bill 90, Sen Doug Mastriano (R-Franklin/Adams Counties), amends the title 35 (health and safety) of the Pennsylvania consolidated law in Commonwealth Services, provides for further course, training and education certification management system.
In particular, the law allows firefighters to test an entry level for each of the four essential training modules Fire Fighter Certification.
Currently, firefighters must complete all four modules before conducting cumulative tests. This law holds it as an alternative.
This law is effective in six months.
Senate bill 95
Senate Bill 95, Sena Christin Philips-Hil (R-York County), amends the Pharmacy Act, provides for further definitions, for the license of pharmacists and for illegal acts; And providing for price disclosure.
This allows permanently emergency medical services providers to release a dosage package of life-saving Naloxone with a patient’s on-sein careist, which was overdade over opioids and revived by EMS, provided that a permanent recipe was issued by the Health Department. There is a current permanent order for the Commonwealth.

Some parts of the law are effective in 60 days while other parts are effective in a year.
Senate bill 649
Spoken by Senate Bill 649, Sen Tracy Penicuke (R-Bark/Montgomery), amends the title 18 (crimes and crimes) of Pennsylvania, which in fake and fake practices, to establish a crime for digital forgery.

The Governor has not yet signed the House Bill 1431 in the law, which was passed last month. This will revoke the Sunday hunting sanctions in the state.
The Governor’s office said that it is planning to sign it in the coming days.
