South Lake Tahoe, Nev.- Former NHL player who won the American Century Championship at Agegewood Taho on Sunday, which closed with nine points defeating former pitcher John Smoltz in a wire-to-wire win at the celebrity event.
Pavalski had a 29 -point round under the revised Stabilford Scoring System to finish with 73 points. He was second last year behind former tennis player Mardi Fish.
“I don’t know what to say, in fact,” Pavelski said, which turned 41 years old on Friday. “But just a wonderful week. This place is incredible. It means the world for me.”
Pavalski earned $ 150,000 from $ 750,000 purse.
Smoltz had a 28 -digit round.
“I was trying to put heat on anyone, the top three,” Smoltz said. “I was just trying to climb as much as I could.”
The country’s star Jake Owen finished third at 62 after the day of 21 points.
Taylor Twelman, former football player who shared a second round lead with Pavelsky, was fourth in 61. He had 17 points in the final round.
