carrier aircraft green Bay Packers‘ Players and coaches were delayed more than five hours before leaving for Phoenix on Saturday before Sunday’s game Arizona Cardinals,

A source told ESPN that the Packers use two charter planes, and there was a problem with the plane carrying players and coaches. A new plane had to be brought to Green Bay from Detroit.

A source said the staff plane, which usually departs first, departed on time at 1:15 p.m. CT. The second flight was scheduled to depart at 1:30 pm CT.

It is possible that the problem with the second plane was discovered too late for the players and coaches to board the first plane.

The plane carrying players and coaches finally departed the gate at 7:05 p.m. CT and was scheduled to land in Phoenix at 8:32 p.m. local time. This is 5 hours and 14 minutes later than expected.

Kickoff between the Packers and Cardinals is at 1:25 pm MT.
