California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) said he is less concerned about President Trump potentially running for a third term, pointing to the 79-year-old’s age and potential well-being. Newsom, a potential 2028 presidential contender, said, “To your question, I have softened on this notion of a third Trump term because of the timing of my life and my state of mind.”
