Maryland Governor Wes Moore (D) is vowing to move forward with his redistricting effort in the Old Line state, even though the state Senate shows no signs of moving forward with the new Democratic gerrymander. “Democracy means we debate. Democracy means we test ideas. Democracy means compromise. And then democracy means we vote – that’s the basis of democracy,” Moore explained.
